Farm Animal Visits

Hatching Ducklings!

Special Events

We offer educational and interactive visits with a wide variety of farm animals.  Including; Donkeys, Horses, Ducks, Geese, Goats, Peacocks, and more!  Standard visits are typically around an hour.  Depending on the animal and your facility the visit can be indoors or outside.  Our Donkey and Goats have diapers to do indoor visits to memory care units or visits during inclement weather.  We can also design fun games or themed visits, such as seeing baby ducklings swim, pin the tail on the donkey, and more!

Every Spring/Summer we offer Senior Homes the opportunity to hatch baby ducks!  We provide you with an incubator and 6-10 eggs, and a set up to keep the ducklings for a few days after hatching!  We also provide educational packets so residents can learn about incubation, the stages of duckling development, and the hatching process!  Dependent upon your distance from our facility, we can arrange candling visits, or we can instruct your staff how to candle eggs for residents to see the developing ducklings!  Once hatched, you have the opportunity to keep the ducklings for 3-5 days.  Ducklings take 23-28 days to hatch.

From Tree Lightings and Fall Festivals, to themed lunches or open houses for families and potential new residents; we can bring one or multiple animals, farm themed games, and/or educational programs.  We love to be creative with you on how to make it something different, fun, and memorable for your residents and their families!

Pricing for our Senior Home Programs is dependent upon factors such as; travel, animal type, and length of visit/event.  Please contact us for scheduling and pricing.  If you are inquiring for a visit to a family member's facility, have their Activities Director contact us!
